Jesus said, ‘I will
build My Church.’ He also said ‘A greater than the temple
is here,’ meaning that He is greater than our activities
that consist of our worship of Him. But Jesus went further
and said that our worship of Him takes place in Him.
‘Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three
days.’ He was speaking of His Body, a living entity which
is His people in Him. Not near Him, around Him or about
Him, or living in their ideas of Him. Living in Him.
We live in Him and He in us by the Spirit and not the
letter.
We need to get over using phrases such as ‘our perspective’
on things like the Holy Spirit and attempt to become
familiar with God’s perspective on Himself and His
perspective on you. When we read the Bible we need to ask
God to reveal Himself to us, rather than attempt to fit
what we are reading into ‘our perspective.’ The Kingdom of
God belongs to those who belong to God, and who are living
in His perspective - which is to live in Jesus, the new and
living way. We can repent and relinquish our kingdoms
voluntarily or we can have them torn from us. Why? Because
we are living in the season of the Seventh Angel.
“The seventh angel sounded
his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which
said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of
our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and
ever” Rev 11.15.
