A guest speaker once asked a gathering of pastors, ‘How many of you would be doing this if you were not drawing a salary?’ It’s a good question. Without having to think too hard we could ask, ‘How many of us would be doing what we do in ministry if there was nothing in it for us in regard to career and advancement or public attention of any kind?
The question I would pose today is, “What’s driving you?”
